bags: thankful

 i feel very blessed to have the support of my friends and family throughout the start up of greenbugbags. many of my bags have been gifts to friends and some family has purchased bags for themselves. i always feel so grateful and honored to sell a handmade tote to someone.

yellow treasures and treasuries

i've been loving yellow lately. i have been making treasuries on etsy this past month and so many of them have had yellow themes!

mustard, saffron, lemon, sunshine, egg yolk, butter, chartruese.... i love all shades of yellow!

sunshine is my chandelier and autumn spectacle are two of my favorites. there are so many talented artists on etsy using yellow as inspiration!

so, the other day i was thrifting. and i came across a box of treasure.

i know it doesn't look like a treasure box, but there were treasures inside!

this sugar cup is missing it's lid so it became the perfect business card holder!

it wasn't a complete set but it didn't matter. it satisfied my craving for more yellow!

this past weekend, we went to MOCA. so did everyone else! it was packed! 

play: listening to revolver

i was driving today and heard on the radio that the beatles album revolver was released 45 years ago today!
the dj announced they would play one album side... decided by votes on facebook. side "a" won but the vote was so close that they ended up playing the whole album. how can you choose sides? i was on my way to my mom's and it was fun to have a listening party with her. it made my day!

hope you have a chance to listen to some beatles today!


p.s. please don't ask me to choose my favorite beatles song! it's impossible!!!!!

bags: green mandala

i remember the day that i found this fabric. it was one of those thrift store finds that i will never forget. the package was unopened and the tablecloth was brand new! never washed! perfect! i don't know if it was  the "green bug...... green bag" thing but it was fate.

it was the first bag i ever sold.
